I don't like that 'empty, saggy tits' tag. You should not insult Maria Ewing. She had a lovely body and was in very good shape.
It is a huge part to sing. She is fantastic in it. I do not know any other singer capable of singing this part who could also dance so beautifully––though Catherine Malfitano also gave it a good try. (See https://xhamster.com/videos/catherine-malfitano-opera-singer-156845.)
Anyway, if you never watch any other opera, I recommend the DVD of Maria Ewing in Salome. One day maybe I will sing this part, and do my best at dancing the seven veils. Wish me luck!

I was naked singing Flosshilde in Das Rhinegold, in a small amateur production in a Newport warehouse. Alberich and both other Rhinemaidens were naked too. It took some courage!

I don't know if more female opera stars will take the leap to nudity. On stage nudity is more prevalent in small productions not main stream. Great to see this.

3 this is Salome "Dance of the Seven Veils" from the opera by Richard Strauss, and it makes quite a change to actually see Salome totally butt naked at the climax. Usually some compromise of lighting and clothing hides whatever position of semi nudity she is in.
4 apart from the ground breaking nudity, Maria Ewings performance was very sexy and erotic as the situation requires.
Bravo! Encore!
