I love true accounts like this, much better than some of the fantasy school stuff you see. This is proper old school 1960s or 70s when there was often a handy plimsoll lying around to dish out some red bottoms. I saw out music teacher dishing hard whacks on a regular basis, but why oh why didn't he bend me over for six of the best when I and some mates were sent to him. Yes I remember second day at senior school our class was to go swimming I had almost forgotten my trunks just remembered at last minute. Before we set off for the baths the teacher asked if we all had our trunks five out of 30 had forgot them. He made them bend over and gave them each two whacks with the slipper while we all watched.

On two occasions I should have been slippered, but sadly the teachers let me off, I've always wished they'd got on with it. Both teachers in question were proficient with the plimsoll so I would have had a very hot stinging backside.
